🥹 There is so much in this verse that is powerful and beautiful. The first part of this first is a power statement: to not be ashamed of the gospel. What a powerful statement to say. As Christians, we need to be unashamed of the gospel, of the good news of our messiah. Too many people today are afraid to speak the truth of the gospel message. But that is not what we are called to do. We are called to be ambassadors for Messiah, and to proclaim the gospel boldly. Just because the gospel is not #popular or #trendy doesn’t mean that we should hide it. The second part of this verse that is mind blowing is that this message is for everyone. It is not just for the Jew, but also the Gentile. All men and women are created in the image likeness of God. Our creator wants all of us to be part of his redeemed family through Messiah.
